For over 19 years, Brad served in multiple roles as IU's vice president for IT & CIO, vice president for communications and marketing, and interim dean for the Luddy School of Informatics, computing, and engineering. With the CFO, he led the creation and rapid implementation of IU's Decision Support Initiative for all IU schools and campuses and an enterprise implementation of Salesforce. He is a professor of Information Systems in the IU Bloomington Kelley School of Business where he teaches MBA courses in IT and innovation. He is a frequent author regarding higher education.
Karen is a 25-year media leader turned higher ed marketer and digital strategist. At Gannett, she led teams in sales, distribution, marketing, business development and strategic planning before serving as president of the West Group for Gannett Domestic Publishing overseeing 60+ media entities. As Indiana University's Chief Marketing Officer she led the development and implementation of IU's marketing maturity model, creation of a research- and insights-driven marketing team, and in partnership with CFO and CIO, scaled impact of Salesforce for departments, schools, and the university. Northwestern University honored Karen's leadership in publishing by admitting her to the Medill Hall of Achievement.
Dan Smith is president emeritus of the Indiana University Foundation and dean emeritus of IU's Kelley School of Business. He led each through a period of rapid growth in effective relationships with students, faculty, alumni, and philanthropists. He is a professor of marketing and an award-winning MBA teacher.
